I'm kidding really ... the article is about the number of researchers required to sustain Moore's Law and other heavily engineered science processes - apparently it takes more than 18 times the number of researchers to sustain the trajectory of chip capacity today than it did in 1970. Thus the chip is way more productive ... but the process of designing it is not ...!! Tech advance = demand for more researchers ... this may in turn explain why it is difficult to extract whole economy productivity growth out of current tech...
